Angelica Barron Maulucci, LCSW, LICSW, CFS

Angelica holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work from Simmons College and a Certification in Fashion Styling from the School of Style in Manhattan. With over a decade of experience as a mental health professional, she is dedicated to empowering underestimated communities. Her work has reached youth and young adults involved in the justice, foster care, and immigration systems, as well as those facing unstable housing and gang culture, addressing the profound impacts of systemic injustice on their self-esteem and identity.

Angelica founded GlowUp GlowTogether to use fashion and expressive arts to support young people in reclaiming their sense of self and building resilience.
GlowUp GlowTogether's mission is to transform how youth connect with themselves and the world, challenging the societal structures that seek to diminish their value to foster brighter futures.

GlowUp GlowTogether combines the following principles:
Cognitive Behavioral Skills: Understanding how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected to address patterns and make empowered changes.
Dialectical Behavioral Skills: Building interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance to face challenges with confidence and independence.
Mindfulness: Engaging in practices to live in the moment with presence and peace.
Expressive Arts: Using creativity as a tool for emotional freedom and self-expression beyond talk-centered communication.
By partnering with schools and youth organizations, GlowUp GlowTogether extends its impact nationwide. With mentorship, coaching, and creativity at its core, GlowUp GlowTogether nurtures the next generation to boldly embrace their power and identity through the radical act of self-love.
